On a personal note, I’m thrilled we get to celebrate Jerry tomorrow. When I moved to New York in 2019 he was kind enough to grab coffee with me and give me a ton insight about the NYC tech ecosystem.

We met on the day of Datadog’s IPO. Jerry was one of the first couple checks into Datadog and the company was IPO’ing at a $10 billion valuation. That was pretty electric - Jerry looked, I don’t know, luminous? Like, the guy was actually glowing. It’s insane that Jerry, on such a triumphant occasion, still took time to meet with me.

I’m so thankful for Jerry’s guidance over the last couple of years and I can’t wait for tomorrow’s event.
