Recap of April’s Breakfast Club: AI Edition
Last month, I cohosted the breakfast club with Anthony Castrio, the founder of Indie Worldwide (a global community of bootstrapped startup founders) and Bot Eat Brain (a daily newsletter about AI).
Shout out to JLL and Lauren Calandriello for graciously hosting us at 141 E Houston -
Companies that I’m Excited about:
Intros AI - Intros AI uses generative AI to connect people within the same organization for 1:1 chats. Use cases include mentor and onboarding connections at companies, introducing students in universities or cohort based programs, and running a customer community. They’ve worked with Techstars, Morning Brew, UChicago, Ramp, and hundreds of other organizations that want to connect their people.
Bucephalus - A supply chain ops platform that empowers millions of fast-growing e-commerce brands to move products faster, cheaper, and more sustainably using AI. Nick DeGiacomo, the founder, has spent his career in cloud infrastructure/data engineering and AI research at Amazon and Bloomberg.
Blockpliance - an AI tool that computes a risk score for cryptocurrency addresses. Blockpliance’s product makes it easy for non-crypto natives to understand from where the risk is coming. They do this with color-coded data visualizations and off-chain data attributions that replace complex cryptographic data.
